How do I set up my email address in my email client?

To set up your email address in programs such as Outlook, Thunderbird or on your smartphone, please use the following settings:

  • Incoming Mail Server (IMAP): mail.x-hosting.eu (Port 143 STARTTLS or 993 SSL/TLS)
  • Outgoing Mail Server (SMTP): mail.x-hosting.eu (Port 587 STARTTLS or 465 SSL/TLS)
  • Username: Your full email address (e.g. user@x-hosting.eu)
  • Password: Your email password (not the dashboard password!)

I forgot my password. What now?

If you have forgotten the password for the customer area (dashboard), please contact support at admin@x-hosting.eu. If you have forgotten the password for an email mailbox, you can reset it in the dashboard under "Mailboxes".

How can I pay?

We currently accept payments via PayPal. Further payment methods will be added shortly.

What happens when I reach my storage limit?

When your storage limit is reached, you will no longer be able to receive new emails. Senders will then receive an error message. You can free up space by deleting old emails or upgrading your plan in the dashboard.

Can I use my own domain?

Yes, in our paid plans you can link your own domain with our email services. Please contact support to set up the DNS records.

Is there a webmail interface?

Yes, you can access your emails directly via our webmailer. Click on "Webmail" in the menu or go to Webmail Login.
